Time and key signatures in multi bar rests?

I'm having trouble with putting time and key signatures in between two sets of multi bar rests. I've created 27 bar rests, and put a new time signature and key signature in bar 8, but when I enable multi measure rests in Edit > Edit Styles, the time and key signatures disappear.

Any ideas how to get them both to work?

Sorted!

I just had to right click on the bar AFTER the key change, go to Bar Properties, and select "Break Multi Measure Rest".
