Video Viewer

I was testing out another notation program which I ended up getting rid of in less than one day. The one thing I did find useful was that it had a video viewer embedded so that it was possible to play the music alongside the audio from the video. This would a great help to those who are scoring films. Would it be possible to include something like that in Musescore, possibly in version 2.1?

IN theory this should be possible by means of Jack Control.

I do not think it works in practice yet, however.

This has already been asked for a number of timers, so you may like to add your voice to the feature request in the issue tracker: #11870: Video player for making scores for film

Whether it will happen for MuseScore 2.x is doubtful, but perhaps we may get it into the feature list for MuseScore 3 if we shout loud enough, or, even better, someone takes on the task of writing the code to make it happen :)
