Simple Gifts and Quiet Songs

I have of late begun posting Musescore-created charts and scores on YouTube, along with carefully crafted midi output. The latest is a particularly fine example of what can be accomplished with Musescore, an arrangement for guitar, bass, and strings (Violins I, II) of a song I wrote some time ago and recently re-discovered called Simple Gifts and Quiet Songs.

Other scores I have posted on YouTube may be found by going to my channel at

The reason for posting the scores on YouTube instead of providing .mscz files here is that the midi output sometimes requires specific soundfonts that not everyone may have. Furthermore, I do some post-processing of the output with sox.

Anyone is interested in the score files themselves, either as .mscz or .pdf, should feel free to ask me for them.
