MIDI Keyboard not working

I am using MuseScore 1.3 on Ubuntu 12.10. I want to type in notes by my MIDI keyboard. It seems to be plugged and recognized by my OS well:

$ lsusb|grep -i midi
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0a4d:008e Evolution Electronics, Ltd MK-249C MIDI Keyboard


But entering notes is only possible by mouse or by conventional keyboard. The same problem occurs on MuseScore 1.2. And this is a screenshot of my MIDI preferences. Obviously, there is no Portaudio option available. Is this related to my problem?
