Crashes on launch

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post. I am very keen to try using musescore 2.0 but everyone of the nightlies I have downloaded crashes immediately on launching. I am using mac 10.8-. Is there any obvious reason for this or anything I can do to ensure it launches? With thanks.
