Can't log in (old skool)

• Jul 4, 2013 - 16:08

I recently tried logging in to musescore.org (not .com). The login screen comes up with a big box if you want to log in using your musescore.com credentials, and a small link if you want to log in the "old-skool way". Unfortuately, clicking on this small link brings me back to the main MuseScore page, not to the old-skool login screen. (Sorry I don't have the exact wording at hand right now.)

As I normally stay logged in, I don't know when this started.

Which browser do you use Fifist? I tried to reproduce with Chrome but it worked fine. Let me know so I can try to reproduce it. Thanks.

Hi Thomas -

My laptop at work, where this happened, is running Windows 7 and IE 9 (I believe). I didn't try a different browser.

Thanks so much.

Any news, Thomas? Have you been able to reproduce the problem?

I still can't log in to musescore.org from my work laptop and I'm afraid to log out from my home PC to try it, or else I won't be able to post anything.

Thanks!

You will notice that your OS is no longer detected when Compatibility View is enabled. The Download button will only show the MuseScore version, but not the OS.

I guess you already tried to empty the cache, delete history and the index.dat file (local ... \ Temporary Internet Files \ Content.IE)?
If you have on hand a pen drive, even with little capacity, you could try a portable version...maybe Firefox ;-)
