Recreating measure created in Finale 2012 using line from palette

• Jul 20, 2013 - 22:39

I'm trying to create in Musescore 1.3 (version 5702) the following measure:

and the line defining the triplet doesn't redefine the length of the two notes in it. What I've been able to create is

and I haven't found a way to recreate the measure as created by Finale 2012.

(Measure is from "Do To Me" by Trombone Shorty, baritone sax part)

Read Tuplet . There is not much to it.
Select a rest in a empty measure, press 5 (for a quarter), press Ctrl + 3 for a triplet, press E, 5, D, 4, D, C, 5, ., B and you have the note and rythm. To put the bracket above the note, select it and press X.
