1/8 note kick drum position
Hello Everyone,
I'm a relatively new Musescore user and new to the forum. I have started using the program for drum transcriptions (I'm fairly new to drumming, too), and have had some success ( I think the program is great, so thanks to the developers!).
However, I can't for the life of me put an eighth note bass drum on the 'and of 2'. Whatever I try, it puts it on either the 2, or puts it on the 3 and pushes the hi-hat to the 'and of 3'. I've tried with and without rests, but no joy.
What I'm trying to achieve is a very simple backbeat measure, with the kick on 1, & of 2 and 3.
I hope all that makes sense - any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi, thanks for the reply. I was ok with all the basics shown in that vid, I just couldn't get the 1/8 note in the right place. All sorted now, I was trying to add the 1/8 note to a 1/4 note hi-hat, without changing the hi-hat to 1/8 - d'oh.
