Lyrics interfering with slurs

Hello.

I am relatively new to MuseScore, but I have been using it for several months now, and I just ran into a problem. I am transcribing a choral piece in MuseScore, but when I type some of the lyrics in, they interfere with the slurs that are tied note to note. I have tried adjusting the spacing and the alignment, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Help please?

Either of the following will work:

Style -> Edit General Style -> Page - > Lyrics upper margin: increase to 2.5, 3.0 or whatever

OR

Just flip the slur above the notes (click on slur, press X).
