How to create score with independent harmony lines

• Aug 28, 2013 - 04:22

I want to score a piece with 4 independent parts in close score (soprano and alto parts on treble staff and tenor and bass parts on the bass clef). Please provide some guidelines. Thank you for your kind assistance.

with the language.
independent parts, see "Set up your score": http://musescore.org/en/musescore-tour-create-sheet-music # setup

"close score", add two instruments (Soprano / Baritone), see voices: http://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices.
You can start a new score or use a template

During playback:
SATB, you can listen to the solo part;
SB (voices), you can listen one of the two staves.
If it is not pertinent, give me more details

Thank you very much Shoichi and Michael (and ChurchOrganist). Using Voices solved my problem. Musescore tour on create sheet music was also useful, especially the video tutorial suggested "Musescore in 10 easy steps".

Simple, you create a 2 stave score.

S is written in voice 1 upper stave
A is written in voice 2 upper stave
T is written in voice 1 lower stave
B is written in voice 2 lower stave
