Horizontal lines
On the Lines pallete, there is a line with open right hand end and with a "2." under its angled beginning.
How can I get a line with an open beginning and a right angle right end?

Add the line to the score.
Right click on it to turn it blue.
Check/uncheck the 'Hook' box under 'Begin' or 'End'.
