Pictorial Music Scores
Just a question out of curiosity: Does Musescore provide the pictographic way to indicate instruments mentioned in 8th paragraph of http://www.ubieta.com/bio.htm ?
It mentions that Sibelius provides that possibility, I don't know if it does natively. I think it would be possible in Musescore by means of placing images of the instruments at the beginning of the staves, but it would not be a direct or native way. Please, don't bite my neck, of course I understand it is not a frequently required feature.

You would need to create the images and place them on the stave(s) where you want them to appear. Insert a vertical frame or adjust the paper margins to move the music over to the right to allow the image to be placed.
At the beginning of the article it mentions changing the colours of the dynamics. You can do this easily from Inspector and then [Ctrl][Shift] drag the dynamic to a custom palette.

For the instrument, maybe a font could be used. You will need a font with glyphs for each instrument.

Thank you. This is a good idea, since it would need nothing new from the software, only to find or design a proper font.
