adding chord symbols

I know to use Ctrl/K to add a chord symbol. [tab] jumps to the next measure.
QUESTION 1 -- how do I jump to the next beat to add another chord in that measure?
QUESTION 2 -- can I add 2 or 3 chords symbols associated with a single whole note?
