You are always such a great help Franz.
However when I go there and click on settings I am greeted with a screen that refuses to let me go there, saying I am not authorized. Any ideas?

Did you click on your name, on the top right?
Are you using Firefox? (addons permissions)

I had to log in again. I guess it's security.
To turn off all mail notifications for comments from musescore.org forum and issue tracker, go to https://musescore.org/user > click on three dots > Subscriptions > click on three dots > Turn off notification mails.

Additionally, you can subscribe/unsubscribe from mail notifications on a certain post via the three dotted icon on each post page. Perhaps that's the solution you are looking for in the end?
