How do I get Musescore recognize my audio card?

Hello everyone,

Sorry if it was discussed before, couldn't find in the forum or in How To's.

I have M-Audio Audophile 2496 model Audio Card attached on my PC's motherboard.

I can get it recognized by other sheetmusic writing softwares like Cakewalk, however I couldn't find a way to get it recognized in Musescore. I just would like to improve the sound quality while playing. Even if I tried different soundfont plugins, I am not satisfied and I am looking for a way to use my audio card with Musescore software.

Would appreciate any possible suggestion.
