"local scores" saved on my ipad lost after the last update of the application

• Sep 16, 2018 - 16:26

Hello, i used to have 30+ partitions on my ipad, in the musescore app.
I used to transfer them by mail to myself, and then, i added them to musescore from the "mail" application. Worked very well, very usefull, as I do not want to go through an online server to communicate between the Mac and the ipad.

I just upgrade to the latest version of the app on the ipad, and since, i lost all my partitions, and cannot add one anymore to musescore, in order to play it on the ipad. It's a big lost of functionnality if not possible anymore. Musescore would be much less interesting, that possibility was the major reason for which i used musescore

I'm pretty sure i have missed something. What do i have to do to retrieve the capability to store partitions locally on the ipad, sending them by mail ?

Many thanks by advance for the help
Thierry

Hi Thierry, this is issue is a can of worms.

I am afraid that your local files on the iPad are overwritten and gone.

The Ultimate Guitar Musescore team is stalling the re-upload of Songbook 1.13 to App Store, even though the Musescore app v2.0 is rife with bugs. There are some suggestions on workarounds in the
