Windows update afecting playback

After a new Windows 10 (64 bit) update playback on MuseScore failed after initially working fine with the update. Winders has been interfering with my ASIO driver/TASCAM US-2x2 for some time but MuseScore always showed playback even if I could not hear it over the ASIO driver however no it does not show playback. But if I click a note in the score the appropriate sound is audioble. I re-installed MuseScore twice, I use the 2.3.2 version with revision#: 4592407.
