Can we exporting as mp3 or midi with metronome?
It's great being able to add the metronome for playback, and it would be wonderful to be able to include the metronome when exporting a Musecore file as mp3 or midi. Is that possible? Is there another way of including a metronome effect? Any suggestions much appreciated: thanks!

You can add a percussion staff and use wood block for sound.
I have a similar question. I want to be able to export an MP3 with just one or two measures of metronome as a lead-in to the song. This is because I use these MP3s to practice with, and the "counting in" prepares me to start playing my ukulele at the same time the MP3 begins.
I have added a staff of percussion (claves) with the appropriate lead-in measures, then filled the rest of that staff with rests (to stop the claves sounding). For printing purposes, I made that percussion staff invisible. I did run into a problem because my song repeats, and so did the claves. I got around that by adding a repeat bar at the beginning of the song, AFTER the claves' measures.
This seems very clunky to me, and I can forsee problems down the road if I have a song that starts with a pickup measure that DOESN'T repeat. Is there a better way to do this??

Yes, that's the way to do it.

If the pickup measure DOESN'T repeat, then the claves lead-in (which plays before the pickup) should not cause a problem as the repeat is after the pickup and the claves lead-in is before.
