Make "samp" font size same as surrounding text in handbook (CSS)

• Dec 31, 2018 - 09:25

Hello

At present, text in the handbook styled with the "samp" tag is smaller than the surrounding text. It looks a bit odd to me. Surely it should be the same size as the surrounding text.

Here's what "samp" text currently looks like:

I tested this in a number of browsers, but in all of them, the "samp" text appear that small. Except for Opera 12, in which the "samp" text is slightly bigger, but still smaller than the surrounding text, and except for Otter Browser, in which the "samp" text is actually the appropriate size. The major browsers all show what the above screenshot shows.

"samp" text takes its font size from the style sheet, right? So it should be a simple fix, I hope.

(Added: The PDF version of the handbook suffers from the same problem, although the PDF file has its own formatting problems...)

Thanks
Samuel
