Length of articulated notes (playback not source note)
When an articulation appears above a note (say, a trill or prall), the playback (which won't appear on the score) will consist of notes of a certain length. For example a mordent played at any tempo will generally have the same speed in milliseconds no matter the BPM.
Has anyone determined the general time in real seconds of your average playback notes in articulations like trills or turns? I can't find that answer anywhere on the internet.
Maybe an experiment needs to be run.

OK i found this: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1404.2314.pdf.
I think on p. 22 it's saying the note length in a trill is .16 sec on average. Can anyone understand this article?
