Midi Keyboard

If I hook up a midi keyboard, can I get musescore to playback my phrasing?

Aka, velocities, note duration, etc. I see there are two modes where you can use the keyboard to enter just rhythm or just notes. If you're doing just notes, should be possible to generate phrasing without messing up notation.
