Accelerators for coloring notes (user-configurable palette)

Coloring notes with the inspector and the color-picker is too cumbersome for intensive use, e.g., in correction of an exercise. I'd like to be able to choose 1 or more keystrokes of my own choosing bound to color-picker colors of my choosing and color an element in a single keystroke.
