Automatically update measure numbering when Using Repeats
If I have a score with bar 1 repeated 10 times, and I change the bar properties to set the play count to 10, surely the next bar should automatically be numbered 11 and not 2. How do I make that happen, without having to adjust every bar after a repeat manually?

No, is still is measure 2, 10 times measure 1, then measure 2, then 3...
But if you really want, you can make it 11, by adding 10 as the measure number offset in measure properties (right click into it)

I disagree, the piece as played is the ultimate source of truth, the score merely a tool. 10 times bar 1 means you play 10 bars. A bar is a unit of time passed. If one instrument repeats the same bar 10 times, while another soloes on top, they have both played 10 bars.
Regardless, I am interested in finding out if the numbering can automatically take play count into account when numbering, and it looks like it can't. I know I can add an offset manually, but I'd rather computers do the work for me. Thanks anyway

There's no such automatic, not in MuseScore at least
