problems with decreasing layout stretch in Musescore 2.3.2
I'm having trouble with Musescore stretching the measures out so they take up an entire line and when I try to decrease the layout stretch, it doesn't change anything. I'd like to have 2 - 3 measures per line. I know 2 measures per line will fit, because when I first input the measures there will be 2 measures in a line, but then as I go on, they get stretched to a measure per line and then won't reduce the stretch when I try to change it.

Here's the score. I realize that if you decrease the layout stretch it will mess up the 8va lines, but that's an easy fix.

The crowding of the notes requires space. If the paper size is to be 'Letter' the proposal is to change the orientation and the value 'Scaling' as said by kuwitt
It sounds like a conclusion between scaling, inserting system breaks and decreasing measures.
As mentioned from Shoichi the best way is to attache the score to take a look for the best ratio.
