How to simulate "grid and ruler"

to align the elements of a score
  1. Save these files in the MuseScore wallpapers folder.
    paper6.png paper7.png paper8.png
  2. Select them from: Preferences / Canvas.
  3. The background Canvas pattern will not be printed or exported.
