Shouldn't allow "Preferences" while playing

OS: macOS Mojave (10.14), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.1.0., revision: 3543170

Attempting to reset midi while playing, (to get around the "didn't notice my earphones" bug), I almost crashed the system. What happens isn't pretty.... it should not allow the Preferences dialog while playing.
