Greyed out play button

The play button is greyed out, preventing me from clicking it. iv'e searched it up already and seen that other people have had this problem and tried some of the suggestions i've found. i have restarted the app, restarted factory settings and there are no available updates that i have missed. i've seen suggestions to update my sound drivers or something but i have no clue how to do that or if i can... pls help meeeeeeeeeeeeeee
