I listened to this. Fairly good but too short. I think the comment that it needs more development is correct. Uses a diverse range of instruments. The style comes across as free-flowing dissonance. The percussion makes it more interesting. However, the piece is not really to my taste.

I really enjoyed listening to this! You have created engaging musical materials, and the piece has a nice sense of form. I hope you don't mind a little feedback....

1) The textures are very sparse. This is not a problem in and of itself, but if you're going to get an entire orchestra up on stage for a few minutes, you want to take advantage of all the players. If there's a musical reason for thin textures, no problem, but there are many points in this piece where you could thicken the texture while preserving the musical ideas. This would make for a much more satisfying experience for your players (and, probably, audience).

2) In general the musical language moves from fairly complex, variable-meter with challenging figurations to 4/4 meter based largely on quarter notes. Again, this isn't a problem in and of itself (and all that really matters is what the audience hears), but this will be less satisfying for your players, and therefore will engage them less.

3) What instrument do you play? A great exercise is to actually play through all of the parts yourself and consider what the experience would be like if you were playing with a full ensemble.

I hope this is helpful. Looking forward to hearing more of your music!
