Not too familiar with grace-notes that are after a regular note, but this behavior seems awkward. If it's to be that far away from the half-note here, for example, if the user wants it closer, notice that subtracting from the chord-offset in the inspector moves the base note away from the beginning of the measure. It would seem that this shouldn't happen:
