Can we convert the score into mp3 to send to the student.

Use the "Export" command under "File". in the dropdown that selects file type, select "mp3". That is how you make an MP3 file. I wouldn't call it "convert", I'd say you "produce and record an automatic performance of the score" to an mp3 file. But that's how you do it.
