Unlikely, your score is probably in another folder.

Oh man - it was! it was saved with the same name except with a 2 after it (which I have no memory of doing). MY apologies for the false alarm - I have the preferences set to open last project so I don't know how it would open the old one. But anyways my mistake! thanks.
