Start menu makes the program crash?

Ever since I updated Musescore, it keeps crashing before I even have a chance to do anything. I tried multiple times to use it but it always crashes. I tried opening it by using my opening my other downloads on my documents folder and it worked then. But when I tried to make a new one by pulling up the start menu, it crashed again! Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?
