Background noise on rain synthesizer

I'd like to use the background arpeggio(?) on the default rain synthesizer in the electronic section in a piece I'm making but I find the foreground note covering up the music when I make the synth loud enough to hear the background noise. How can I remove the foreground note without losing the background noise?
