grace note quirk
I am using v. 3.4.2.... and am trying to add a grace note to a selected note (image 1), but the program assigns that grace note to another note already assigned a grace note appearing at the same time but different pitch (image 2). I want it to appear as in image 3. How can I separate the two? thanks

Then there is no need for your invisible rest shown on the top staff of your images 1 & 2. (Compare to image 3.)

BTW: the line connecting the cross-staff notes is the note anchored line from menu item: Add -> Lines -> then select 'Note Anchored Line'.
