Paste in paragraph of lyrics then adjust timing?

Instead of typing lyrics, is it possible to paste in a whole line/paragraph, and then adjust the timing of the lyrics?

I'm entering Chinese text which is easier for me to copy and paste than to type them in. So now I copy one character of lyrics and paste into musescore, which then advances to the next note. If I copy several characters and paste into musescore, it thinks all these characters belong to one note.

Is it possible to keep one character for the current note and move the other characters to subsequent notes? Or just simply distribute one chinese character to each note?
