You will experience bugs (including a crash when trying to save preferences without having a score open), so "maybe".
It'll install side by side with the stable version, so "yes".
It"ll use the same preferences file, so "perhaps".
It will not delete your scores, so yes.

I am already ill from trying to master MuseScore :)
