Last system
Going crazy here! My last system has only a single measure. MuseScore is stretching that measure to be the full width of the page.
HOW do I prevent that? I know there's gotta be a setting somewhere!

in the precedent systems, change the numbers of mesures by using Breaks https://musescore.org/en/handbook/breaks-and-spacers

I have the system breaks where I want them. I just don't want the last system to be justified (stretched). Can you explain what you have in mind? Thanks.

Ok , with a picture , it's better, you don't say that this last system was a CODA........
And the answer is ... Style > Page > Last System File Threshold. When the last system exceed the percentage entered here (which represents the unjustified line as a percentage of the usable page width), the line is justified. I set it 60% and got just what I wanted.

For even finer control of the width of that final measure, append a horizontal frame. By changing the frame width, you also change the remaining width for the measure preceding it.
