multiple time signatures

• Jun 28, 2020 - 01:41

This doesn't seem right or at least it is self-defeating. The time signature changes are slaved to the barlines and playback (maybe a global setting?) But the result is that 5/4 and 7/4 are 4/5 and 4/7 faster than 65 bpm. That isn't right. The effect is a quintuplet or septuplet in global time which isn't how I want to write it. I guess the alternative is a common denominator. I definitely don't want to "squeeze in" notes and create a disguised tuplet/
