Imported PDF has sudden speed up in multiple measures, changing multiple subdivisions causes instant crash

• Aug 2, 2020 - 12:57

Hi, I've imported a PDF into muse score with relative success but there's an issue with the timing across measures , see 4th and 10th, notes have been lost in the import; one clear difference from the original is that, in the first 10 measures, none of the notes are dotted, yet the rhythm is identical in these measures.

I think I may have accidentally deleted time measures from the score and the import may have just been sketchy, is there a quick fix for this?

Please find the original pdf and musescore file.

The transformation from a graphical to a music format and is always problematic and you will need manual corrections even when using commercial programs. Especially in measure 10, how should a program decide about the location of the beams. Maybe you will get a little bit better results by installing and running Audiversis (which is used also by musescore.com) on your PC but it always will need some manual work.
