Downloading Software

• Aug 24, 2020 - 18:28

I currently use a computer that my county has provided for us. It is a Chromebook. Upon trying to install the software, I found that none of the files were supported by the device. I attempted to run Linus (Beta), bu my county blocked the setting change on this device. Is there anyway around these issues? I have no other way of composing and opening scores that I have composed already.

Can you boot from the USB slot? If so, you can try loading ubuntu studio (which contains MuseScore) onto an 8GB USB stick and run from that without modifying or installing anything on the Chromebook.
