Add possibilities to chord pattern?

Suggestion only, not problem
The chord pattern has the possibility of including 'whole chord', 'root only', 'chord minus root', or 'rest'. How about adding the possibilities of selecting third or fifth as well. So you could have it play (something like):

        root   chord   fifth   chord   |   root   chord   third   chord   |

Even more exciting would be the automatic creation of (simple!) "walking" bass lines at chord changes. I would expect that to be considerably harder, however.
