Lyrics lines in imported MIDI files are duplicated several times and stacked on top of each other

Open the attached MIDI file, notice how what initially appears to be one line of lyrics in bold is actually several layers of multiplicate lyrics stacked on top of one another. This is not the only MIDI file that has given me this issue, but merely one example.

I was attempting to create a lead sheet from the melody line for my own use. I don't know why this lyric cloning is happening, and can't seem to find a non-tedious way of reducing the number of identical lines to one.

Hi, I have this issue with every other midi imported. I think the source of these midi files is a Sibelius export. The "workaround" is a real pain - you don't know how many times a syllable is stacked so you have to delete until theres none and then do one Undo. All that for each syllable in each part :-/
