The current MIDI Remote Control provides MIDI mapping for Whole/Half/Quarter/Eighth/16th/32nd/64th notes. It does not expose the halve/double duiration operation:

Q: Halve the duration of the last entered note
W: Double the duration of the last entered note

It would be extremely handy for stepped MIDI note input on many keyboards if this could be mapped to a not just a note, but a controller. For instance - my MIDI keyboard (Alesis QX25) has a desires of knobs K1-K8 which output a changing MIDI control value on MIDI controller 0xE-0x15 . It'd be super handy to map a knob to increase/decrease - however this would require Musescore to keep some state about the controller's last message - the first change would wake it up but otherwise be lost if it's trying to implement a delta only.

Even without controller delta support, just having double/halve would allow me to use the four drum pads to map Halve/Double/Dot/Rest for step input.
