Play Panel does not appear when starting the app

I recently made a mistake in resetting all my settings, and went through the install process again. After I re-configured everything how I like it, I closed the app to make sure everything was working alright.
When I reopened it, the Play Panel, which I constantly have open on the right, along with the mixer, is not there. I have to manually specify to show it every time I open MuseScore. The Mixer panel stays, it's just the Play Panel, which is annoying, considering I use it all the time.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Would really appreciate any feedback
