How to uninstall development build and get back to stable?
I am on Fedora Linux using Gnome and was running fine and then the software control panel said I had an update from MuseScore and it updated it to the development build. Now, even uninstalling and re-installing gives me the development build. How do I get the stable release?

MuseScore does not provide packages for Fedora, so whoever did that must have made that mistake in the packaging. Contact them to have that fixed.
In the meantime, you can uninstall the version you currently have and download the official stable AppImage release directly from this site: https://musescore.org/en/download
