Hi, I can use fonts that I downloaded while in the Musescore 3 editor, but when I publicize it, the font reverts to the default. Any help?

If by "publicize it" you mean upload it to musescore.com, then that is likely expect and a question to be dealt with over there (for example in https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com/discuss/3287986 )
If you instead mean using "File → Export" and pick any of the graphic formats (PNG/PDF) then the font should be included/rendered correctly in that.
