When I start with a "new" project, it gives me 20 measures per line. How do I change that to a different number, say 4 measures per line. I understand that as I add notes this changes but this is for teaching purposes.

Line breaks are added automatically where needed as you fill the measures with music. Or, you can add breaks by inserting a system break. The simplest way to do that is to select the last measure you want in a line and press [Return].
