listening to one voice only on musescore 2
How do I get Musescore to play only one part (alto) of a 4 part harmony, and then, after I have learned that, add in just the soprano so I can learn to sing alto against it? At present, no matter what I do, it plays all 4 parts at once. I have tried checking only voice 2, but that doesn't change anything. I have listened to all the tutorials, and cannot find a mention of this. Thanks for any help!

In MuseScore 2, you'll have to select all other notes and uncheck play for them in the inspector.
In MuseScore 3, you can just open the Mixer and mute the voices directly there.
