Vocals that are part spoken, part sung

I am using Musescore to recreate an old folk song, "Have Some Madeira, M'Dear." Most of the song is spoken but spoken in cadence as if it were sung. This is interspersed with actual singing. You can hear the original song using this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA5MAF6NDsk.

Is there a way to notate in Musescore parts that are spoken, even though the spoken part will have quarter notes and eighth notes, etc.?
