Moving notes between piano staves

Hi,
I'm new to musescore and I'm looking to create sheet music for some piano I've composed.
I'm playing my music into an old version of Cakewalk sequencer and then exporting to a midi file.
Next I'm importing to musescore
First thing I've noticed is that some of the notes played by the left hand appear on the treble clef rather than the bass clef.
Is there an easy way to move notes between staves whilst retaining their pitch ?
